Phloxal Ointment
"Floxal" ointment, being antibacterialdrug, is used in the treatment of ophthalmic diseases locally. The active component ofloxacin, which is part of the fluoroquinolones group, is active against a large number of bacteria (Gram-negative).
"Floxal" (eye ointment) is indicated for preventionbacterial infection during surgical interventions (ophthalmic), as well as after damage (traumatic nature) of the eyeball.
A drug is also prescribed for the treatment of an infection accompanied by inflammation after surgery for eye or injury.
"Floxal" (ointment) is recommended for use whenthe therapy of inflammatory pathologies in the front eye chambers or departments in which diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to the active substance develop. Such ailments, in particular, include conjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, blepharitis, keratitis, dacryocystitis, barley, chlamydial lesion.

If necessary, apply severalophthalmic preparations (local) should keep an interval between applications of five minutes or more. Combined use of ointments and drops "Floxal" is allowed. In this instillation (instillation) is carried out first.
Ointment should be pawned in the affected eye, its conjunctival sac (lower). Applications are carried out twice or thrice a day. For application use a strip of ointment about one and a half centimeters.
