Sea food salt: once again its benefits
Salt is a product without which it can notdo no one person. Anyway, we all use salt when we cook or when we eat (we add salt to ready meals, if they turned out somewhat fresh). For these purposes, as usual, common salt, and sea salt (food) is used. The latter is increasingly becoming fashionable, and for that there are reasons, because it does contain a lot of useful substances. Unrefined sea salt, which our ancestors used once, contained 40 elements, nowadays it is used exclusively as a medicine (it is sold in a pharmacy, called polygalith).
In ordinary life, we now use the purifiedsea salt. Sea salt (food), like crude, contains a lot of useful substances, including: potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese, calcium, zinc, iron, selenium, iodine, copper, silicon. Agree, not the entire periodic table, but quite a lot of necessary substances for the body. Potassium improves metabolic processes, it is necessary for bones and for the work of the heart, promotes the formation of new cells, improves well-being. Manganese participates in the formation of bone tissue, strengthens the immune system. Magnesium promotes absorption by the body of various vitamins and minerals. Phosphorus is used by the cells of the body for the construction of cell membranes. Zinc forms a healthy immune system and supports the work of the sex glands. Selenium - a good antioxidant, used to prevent cancer. Iodine is needed for the thyroid gland; in shops special iodized salt is also sold, it is advised to use it in regions where there is a shortage of iodine in products. It is impossible not to mention iron, it participates in the movement of oxygen and promotes the production of red blood cells.
Large sea salt (food grade) is used incooking (it can be added to soups, stewed vegetables, etc.). Crushed salt is better suited for ready-made dishes. It can be covered in a salt shaker and used as a normal salt. Recently, supermarkets also sell a mixture of sea salt and herbs. It is great for preparing various dishes, in which seasonings are added.
And a few words about when it is better to saltdifferent dishes. Salads are usually salted before adding vegetable or olive oil. Salt is poorly soluble in oils, so if you added it at the very end, then such a salad will, as they say, "crackle on your teeth." Vegetable and fish broth is better to salt after boiling water. But meat broths, on the contrary, are salted closer to the end of cooking, otherwise the meat will turn out to be tough. If you feel that the soup turns out to be salted, do not worry, just put the rice in the saucepan at the very end of the cooking, he will take the surplus.
When you cook potatoes, water should be added,as soon as it boils. Fried potatoes are salted, on the contrary, at the very end, then it turns out hard and crunchy. In order to properly weld pasta, water should be salted before dropping them into boiling water, otherwise they will stick together. The same goes for ravioli and dumplings. Meat is salted during frying, otherwise the juice will flow out of it, and it will be tough.
Sea salt, due to its saturationuseful substances, promotes metabolism and, in general, better functioning of the whole organism. Thanks to the improvement in metabolism, it can also help in the treatment of acne, acne, rashes. However, as in any business, it is important not to overdo it. Try to use the usual, usual for you the amount of salt in the preparation of dishes or with already prepared dishes. Just replace the salt in the cleaned sea and be sure to follow your feelings. To relax and strengthen the body, you can also take a bath with sea salt. It is recommended to do this in the evening, 2 hours after meals and about 1.5-2 hours before going to bed. But you can take morning baths with sea salt, in this case just lower the water temperature a little, so that the bath will not only relax you, but also cheer you up. Does sea salt help with acne? The answer is unequivocally positive. If you add about 1 kg of salt to the bath, it naturally disinfects the skin throughout the body. To remove acne on the face, you can also make steam baths with sea salt (keep your face above the vapors, then rinse well with soap and clean with lotion). A very good remedy is a traditional scrub. Only it is prepared from liquid soap and salt. The resulting mixture gently apply to skin areas on which there are pimples, and well massage these areas. Then rinse the skin with warm water and dry with a clean towel. The procedure can be repeated every few days (the skin needs to be given time to recover).
In conclusion, I want to add that sea salt(food) is a natural storehouse of useful substances, but it is not a panacea for all diseases and can not replace a doctor's visit and use of other medications that you may need. If you have any health problems, be sure to see a doctor.
