How to make "Bloody Mary" cocktail at home
Consider the classic version. In the cocktail "Bloody Mary" the recipe contains a rather large amount of ingredients. So, you will need:
- black pepper;
- half a teaspoon of dry radish (can be found in the store in the department of spices);
- Worcestersky sauce;
- 90 ml. tomato juice;
- 45 ml. or a little more vodka;
- a couple drops of lemon juice;
- a stick of fresh celery, a slice of lemon and green olives for decoration.
Pour a little black pepper, dry radish andPour a couple drops (or to taste) of the sharp Worcester sauce into a tall glass. Add tomato and lemon juice, and then - vodka. Mix gently with a spoon. In the last stage of the preparation, several ice cubes should be placed in the glass for cooling. Serve with a slice of lemon, celery and green olives as shown in the photo "Bloody Mary" on the right. Serve immediately. It was a traditional cocktail "Bloody Mary", the recipe of which today is considered a reference American Barmen Association.
Variants of preparation of a drink
At any cocktail - not an exception and "BloodyMary "- the recipe does not exist in the only way, for example, you can mix a salty and sweet version of a drink, and who knows, maybe you will like it more than the previous one.
- celery salt (sold in the department of spices);
- 4 small cherry tomatoes without peel and mashed in puree;
- half a red chili pepper;
- 40-60 ml of vodka;
6-8 leaves of coriander;
- 2 large crystals of sea salt or very little ordinary;
- 1 tbsp. l of lime or lemon juice.
Dip a large cocktail glass into a celerysalt, so that on the edge turned out a beautiful bezel. Before this glass can be slightly wet. Then shake the remaining ingredients in the shaker, add ice and fill the glass with a liquid. Before serving, you can decorate with a small tomato, strung it on a toothpick.
Variations on theme
Someone might say that this recipe is not enoughdiffers from the previous, classical, except that a little sweetish taste of cherry. But what really surprises you is the mixed cocktail - pineapple "Bloody Mary". This neither you nor your guests have definitely tried. To create this masterpiece you will need:
- 45-50 ml of vodka;
- 80 ml of fresh pineapple juice;
- 25 ml of juice from lime or lemon;
- 2 tablespoons of sugar syrup;
- A little bit of burning paprika.
As in previous versions, connect allingredients in a shaker with ice, pour into a tall glass and decorate with olive or a slice of lemon. Anyway, "Bloody Mary" is a popular and loved by many cocktail, regardless of whether you follow the classic recipe or mix it, as for the first time in 1920 in Paris - just vodka in half with tomato juice.
