Fire Detector Manual IP 535 "Garant"
Fire safety requires specialattention, because it is called to save lives and preserve property. Therefore, mankind at all times invented ways of alerting the fire. The most relevant is in those places where the risk of fire is particularly great.
Fire extinguishing and fire alarm systems use a manual fire detector IP 535 "Garant". It allows you to turn on the fire alarm in manual mode.
Where is the detector used?
Device IP 535 "Garant" is used to turn on the alarm in case of fire. It is designed for installation in areas where there is a possibility of explosions.
The detector is suitable for work in places wherethe explosion hazard class is 0 and below. In such zones it can be connected to an intrinsically safe loop. It can be devices like "Yakhont I" and others like him, creating the necessary conditions.
When used in areas that are safe fromexplosions, IP 535 "Garant" can be connected to a loop, which is not intrinsically safe. Additional current-limiting elements are not needed. But here it is important to consider that the detector is unipolar, therefore at alternating voltage in the loop it is necessary to use an additional diode.
The detector can be operated in varioustemperature conditions, it is used even in the open air in the north, where the temperature is constantly low. The operating temperature ranges from minus fifty-five to plus seventy degrees. At the same time, the relative humidity of the ambient air at forty degrees Celsius should not be higher than 93%.
Device construction
The fire detector IP 535 "Garant" consists of the following elements:
- The body, which is made of impact-resistant material (cast armamide).
- Glass cover. The kit also includes another spare cover, which allows you to restore the device after operation.
- LED in the button.
- Mounting strap.
- Board with electrical circuit elements.
- Terminals for connection to the loop.
On the body of the device there is an inscription: "Fire, smash the glass, press the button".
Principle of operation
The device is powered by several redundant contacts and a rectifying bridge.
When the button is pressed in the loop, the current increases, its force is limited by the resistor. This turns on the built-in LED. IP 535 "Garant" transmits a fire alarm by delaying the drive element.

When the voltage in the loop is twenty-four voltsThe detector has a current strength of less than ten microamperes. In the fire mode, this value is about twenty milliamperes (19.9-21.1 mA). The electrical strength of the insulation should be above 0.75 kilovolts, and the electrical insulation resistance should be greater than 20 megohms.
The device will work when you connect it onlyto a two-wire line, the voltage in which is from four to twenty-seven volts. It is this voltage that is necessary for the electric power supply of the detector.
The device has the following dimensions: length is 160 millimeters with a union (without it 110 millimeters), width - 110 millimeters, depth - 70 millimeters. At the same time the device weighs no more than three hundred grams.
Detector IP 535 "Garant" is working forall the time without interruptions. In standby mode, the device is capable of operating up to sixty thousand hours. This means that the average life of the device is more than ten years.
