KamAZ Fireman is designed and used for extinguishingfires and fires in various settlements, industrial sites, in villages and settlements, as well as other places where people stay. The machine delivers combat calculation, fire-technical weapons and a stock of fire-extinguishing substances to the place of fire, and the rugged terrain for the car is not a hindrance.

A fire truck is capable of supplying water tothe source of ignition both from own capacity, and from any open reservoir or even a standard water supply network. In addition, a special car can use a blowing agent, which is located in its fire tank. In general, the machine is quite unpretentious in technical maintenance, effectively fulfills the tasks assigned to it.

Design features

Fireman KamAZ-43118 has a modular firesuperstructure, which is a collection of separately taken functional blocks, reliably interfaced with each other due to unified connecting dimensions.

The machine is capable of delivering a 7-man combat calculation to the fire fighting site.

A water storage tank is made ofcarbon steel grade. In the case of an open water source near the car, it is possible to extinguish the fire even after the tank has completely emptied.

The tank containing the foaming agent is made of stainless steel and therefore can serve for a long time even under conditions of very intensive operation.

Fire-technical equipment is fixed incompartments of the existing fire superstructure. Each compartment is a reinforced construction using a high-strength steel frame. There are also metal panel doors that make it possible not only to quickly open or close the compartments, but also provide excellent protection for firearms during transportation or storage. Each door has a safety handle. The seats in the cockpit, made with folding, are equipped with seat belts. The cockpit itself is insulated with "Koflex" or "Penofol".

Pencil boxes with suction in themsleeves are fixed using a mono-module system, which, in turn, guarantees good ergonomics, compactness and reliability of storage. A centrifugal type fire pump is installed in the rear of the car.
