Historical reference

"Nevinnomyssky nitrogen" is operatingbeginning on August 2, 1962. On this summer evening the factory workers synthesized the first batch of ammonia. During August, a number of industries were launched, which formed the backbone of the enterprise. However, the construction of the giant plant began in 1954.

The next years of power constantlyincreased, and the range of products expanded. Until the end of the 60s, the production of butyl alcohols, nitrate, weakly concentrated nitric and sebocinic acids, acetylene and other components was mastered. Important achievements were the introduction of a plant for the production of urea and the launch of a second ammonia shop.

Since 1970, the production of complexfertilizers, since 1973 - vinyl acetate. 3.07.1976 launched a section of methanol. In the 80s the technology of obtaining fertilizers was improved - complex preparations appeared, including in liquid form.

Nowadays

By the beginning of the 90s, the equipment of workshops builtin the 50's and 60's, it was badly worn. A number of industries are decommissioned. A large-scale reconstruction of the entire production base was required. After the privatization of the Nevinnomyssky Nitrogen and the subsequent transition to the structure of a powerful international organization EuroChem, funds for modernization appeared.

Today the plant remains the flagship in productionfertilizers and a number of chemicals. From his "health" depends the life of the hundred-thousandth city of Nevinnomyssk, as the enterprise is a city-forming.
