This medicine has not onlyantifungal action, but also anti-allergic, thanks to the included corticosteroid of mazipredon (a water-soluble derivative of prednisolone, which has a desensitizing, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and anti-exudative effect). It is effective against dermatophytes (fungal parasites that cause skin damage in humans), radiant and yeast fungi, and, in addition, it has antibacterial properties in relation to gram-positive microorganisms.

Infectious lesions of skin and nails,which are caused by dermatophytes or other kinds of mycoses (diseases that are activated by parasitic fungi) or accompanied by superinfections (severe, very rapidly developing infectious diseases that are caused by microbes resistant to the drug used earlier, which were in the body before, but did not manifest themselves) and Gram-positive bacteria.
The method of using the drug "Mikozolon" instruction for its use gives the following:
Ointment is applied to the affected skinonce or twice a day, or applied by the method of applying an occlusive bandage for two to five weeks, and sometimes longer, until complete recovery. In case of nail damage, they are short-cut and carefully rubbed Mikozolon ointment once a day in the nail bed, and immediately impose an occlusive bandage.
