Acute and chronic diseases in homeopathy
What is the difference between acute and chronic diseases?
Defining an acute condition, experts sayon the intensity, limitation of specific symptoms, short duration. Completes all this manifestation or recovery, or death. Chronic diseases are characterized by a progressive course. In other words, over time, the condition worsens, there is no relief of symptoms, the illness does not heal. Moreover, some manifestations are aggravated, for example, pain, discomfort, incapacity or death may appear. This very concept denotes the duration in time as a factor of the ailment.
Typical acute conditions includeflu, colds, pneumonia, infection in the middle ear or bladder. As a rule, bacterial and individual viral infections (measles or chicken pox) have the same character. In this case, some viral diseases (herpes, for example) are classified as chronic diseases. Fungal infections can occur in various forms. Various injuries, as well as conditions in which emergency care is needed, are acute. However, along with this, they can have chronic consequences, complications, as a result of which the patient loses his ability to work. This can happen if there is no timely assistance or incorrectly selected therapy.
Arthritis, diabetes, eczema, autoimmune diseases, allergies, asthma, endocrine disorders, as well as cancer and heart diseases - in most chronic diseases.
As a rule, such states have an acute stage. It can be manifested at the beginning of the development of pathology or for a certain period at another time. Often, an exacerbation is mistaken for acute pathology.
Treatment of chronic diseases, in particular, homeopathic remedies, begins with a clarification of the condition. It is recommended that you begin with an initial study of the disease. There is a presence of parallel ailments (skin infection or cold). However, until the symptoms become recurrent or prolonged, they will not be given much importance in the final analysis. The appointment of a constitutional drug assumes that a chronic disease will be eliminated, and the patient will have increased resistance to acute ailments.
In some cases after the applicationhomeopathic drug in the process of constitutional therapy, develops pathology in acute form. If the disease emerges threatens the patient's life, immediate measures are taken to provide emergency care, both homeopathic and conventional (classical).
The use of homeopathic treatment is capable ofhelp in the presence of life-threatening pathologies in the case of clarity of symptoms, and provided that the results of the prescribed therapy are immediately visible or detected shortly after the start of use.
With the available specific limited manifestationsagainst a background of chronic diseases (eg, sore throat, minor colds) is allowed, and in some cases, a more effective measure is the more frequent use (once for four or eight hours) of a constitutional drug. As practice shows, in many cases, exacerbation is eliminated for a short period. This, in turn, indicates a properly selected means.
In some cases, the state of exacerbationchronic disease, for example, an asthmatic attack, may not respond to the used constitutional drug. However, in this case, the effect can be observed when the drug is used more appropriately to eliminate acute specific manifestations.
