Lincomycin in dentistry - an indispensable antibiotic

Forms of release
The drug is used in various dosage forms:
- In the form of injections (injected intramuscularly and intravenously into the gum area).

This drug is prescribed onlya dentist who determines the dosage form and sets the dosage depending on the disease. Lincomycin in dentistry is safely used to treat purulent-inflammatory processes in the oral cavity and prevent their occurrence, and is also used for such diseases as:
- osteomyelitis;
- ulcerative gingivitis;
- small abscesses;
- fistulas;
- alveolitis;
- phlegmon;
- furunculosis;
- pyoderma;
- different forms of expressions of the oral cavity.
They use lincomycin in dentistry often together with lidocaine to eliminate purulent processes in periodontitis, gingivitis and periodontitis.
By-effect
Lincomycin affects organ functionhemopoiesis (which sometimes leads to neutropenia, thrombocytopenia and reversible leukopenia), digestive system (abdominal pain, diarrhea, vomiting, nausea, stomatitis). There may be manifestations of allergic reactions, such as anaphylactic shock, hives, angioedema, dermatitis. This drug is contraindicated in case of sensitivity to substances contained in it, for example clindamycin, and also during pregnancy, during lactation and in disorders of kidney and liver function. Combine with other antibiotics and alcohol it is prohibited.

This drug is able to accumulate in the bone tissue and create the necessary concentration for the treatment of complications.
