Papillomas in a woman - skin tumors caused by a virus

Papilloma is a small process on the skin,which hangs on a leg or has a broad base. With oral contacts, infection is less frequent than with other types of sex, however, it is impossible to completely exclude the possibility of getting the virus into the body. Most often, the human papillomavirus during pregnancy is transmitted from the infected mother to the baby during passage through the birth canal, however, this can also occur with breastfeeding.

Even the avoidance of risk factors, in fact, is not a guarantee, therefore, every woman must pass gynecological examinations in time, because it is impossible to detect neoplasms on the mucous membranes of the genital organs.

The incubation period of this disease usually does not exceed 3 months, but sometimes it can last up to 9 months, depending on the state of the human body. Patients do not experience any discomfort from the papillomas at the initial stages of the disease, but over time, complaints of pain arise when urinating and in the genitals, which is typical for most sexually transmitted diseases. Effective treatment of papilloma is possible only inperiods of exacerbation. For this, the mechanical removal of neoplasms, the use of protivovirus preparations and immunomodulating agents is used. Methods of mechanical removal include surgical or chemical moxibustion, cryosurgery, high-frequency surgery and diathermocoagulation.
