The area of the Quiet Bay is 1508 hectares. It is located 40 minutes walk from Koktebel. The beach and the park are located approximately in the middle between Koktebel and the village of. Nature
Cape Chameleon, fencing the bay with onehand, was named so for the ability to change color during the day. In the morning the cape is gray or blue, and in the evening it is golden, pink, purple. It's all about the clay shales that make up the cape. They differently reflect the sunlight and paint it, thus, in different colors. In Soviet times, the cape was called "Camp".
