Pushkinsky Mountains: attractions, photo
This is an urban type located in 120km from Pskov. Earlier these places were called Sacred Mountains in honor of the Svyatogorsk monastery located here, founded in 1569 on Mount Sinichey, under the decree of Tsar Ivan the Terrible.
Around the monastery grew the settlement of Tobolonets, named after the lake here. By the beginning of the XVIII century it became the village of the Holy Mountains. In late May 1925, it was renamed the Pushkin Mountains.
The building is located in the village administrationdistrict, hostel and hotel, the administration of the Pushkin Reserve, the Holy Assumption Monastery, where Alexander Sergeevich was buried by his grandfather, IA Hannibal, Marya's grandmother, the father and mother of the poet.
Pushkin's Mountains - excursions
From the village several roads lead tomanors of the Pushkin Museum-Reserve. From the village of Bugrova the main pedestrian road to Mikhailovskoye, Petrovskoye and Trigorskoye begins. Between the Svyatogorsky Monastery and Mikhailovsky is a restored mill (1986), which is a museum. It was this mill that was here in Pushkin's time. On holidays, its solemn launch takes place here. As a souvenir, you can take home a souvenir bag with freshly ground flour.
Crossing the bridge across the river, you can get intoa complex of wooden architecture under the open sky "Pskov village". Here is clearly shown how these places looked before. This is the only such museum in the Pskov region. Arriving in the Pushkin Mountains, excursions can be booked for a group of tourists as well as individual ones.
Mikhailovskoye
The most famous estate of Alexander Sergeevich. Here he spent his youth, he spent a lot of time in these places and in more mature years. Here, from 1824, for two years, he was in exile.
The Mikhailovsky Estate (Pushkin Mountains)belonged to the Pushkin family long before the birth of the poet. In the beginning (since 1742) its owner was AP Gannibal - great-grandfather of Pushkin, then grandfather, OA Hannibal and, finally, the owner of the estate became the mother of the poet - NO Hannibal. The property was transferred to the state in 1899. The first Pushkin Museum here was founded in 1911.
Buildings that can be seen today in theMikhailovsky - twice recovered. The estate almost burnt down in 1918. Then it was restored. But during the Second World War it was completely destroyed. The second restoration was carried out in the post-war years.
The museum complex "Pushkinskie Gory", whose sights are of great value for historians, writers, art critics, is under the protection of our state.
Mikhailovsky Park
This is a favorite vacation spot of Alexander Pushkin. Here the poet drew inspiration for his most famous works.
There are two main avenues in the park. One of them is Elovoj. It was planted by OA Hannibal. The second is the avenue of Anna Kern. According to it, Alexander Sergeyevich was walking with his beloved.
Pushkin House-Museum
Historical facts concerning the life of the great poet are of interest to all those who come to the Pushkin Mountains. Sightseeing tourists usually begin to inspect the house-museum of Pushkin.
The manor house is on a steep hill. Now here is an exposition dedicated to the creativity and life of the great poet.
The exposition of the museum features portraitsparents, sister and brother of Alexander Pushkin. There are also portraits of his friends. Of particular interest is invariably the very rare miniature depicting the mother of Alexander Sergeevich, made by an unknown author on an ivory plate.
Housekeeping
Near the manor house there is a small housebabysitting. Its walls and roof are tiled. The house is made up of wooden logs. By tradition, it is called "Pushkin's nanny's house". This name was given to him because Arina Rodionovna lived in it in the summer. The rest of the time she had a room in the master's house.
The house is small, its length is about 9 meters, andwidth - 7 meters. It is surrounded by lilac bushes. Inside it is divided by a corridor into two halves. On the right is the bathhouse, and on the left is Arina Rodionovna's light. Until now, the only thing the poet's nurse lived on-a wooden box that served as a piggy bank.
On the way from Mikhailovsky to Trigorskoy there isa place called Savkin Hill. In ancient times there was a fortification, when in these places lived AS Pushkin in this place was just a hill. Historians say that Alexander Sergeyevich wanted to buy this land from his neighbors and build a summer house there, but he did not have time to do it. On the hill there is a mass grave of soldiers and a wooden chapel, which was recently restored.
Petrovskoye
Museum "Pushkin's Mountains", sightswhich are concentrated in three estates, presents its expositions in the Petrovskoye estate. This estate, like Mikhailovskoye, was granted to Pushkin's great-grandfather Empress Elizaveta Petrovna. Then it passed into the possession of the great-uncle of the poet Peter Abramovich, Veniamin Petrovich - the cousin uncle of Pushkin. He was the last owner of the Hannibals. Since 1839 the owners of the estate have become other people. In the composition of the Pushkin ensemble, the Petrovskaya estate was incorporated in 1936.
Petrovskoye - a completely restored estate(however, like Mikhailovskoye). The houses of the Pushkin era were burned down in 1918. In 1977 the house of PA Pushkin was restored, and in 2000 the house of A. Hannibal appeared.
Today, the museum-estate consists of tworestored houses and a park with an arbor. The exposition of Pushkin's time is especially valuable in the exposition, most of which were found during excavations. In the park you can see a linden and two elm trees, which "saw" Abram Hannibal.
Trigorskoye
Another estate included in the complex "PushkinThe mountains". The sights of this place are also related to the life of Alexander Sergeevich, although it never belonged to Pushkin's Hannibals. This estate is a close friend of Alexander Sergeevich Osipov-Wolf. With them, he was very friendly during his exile in Mikhailovskoye.
Like the two estates we already mentioned, Trigorskoye was completely burnt in 1918. It was restored in the post-war years. By 1978, the manor house and bathhouse were restored.
Around the master's house there is a park with a "benchOnegin "and" Tatiana's alley. "There is an opinion that it is Trigorskoye that is the prototype of the Larins' estate, and Pushkin" borrowed "the characters of his famous novel from his friends.
The most interesting place of the park is considered to be an amazing sundial in which ancient oaks, planted in a circle, are the divisions of the dial.
