The Russian city of Obninsk is called the first instate science city. And here everything corresponds to this name: attractions (Obninsk), names of different institutions, the coat of arms of the city. Nuclear power plant

In addition to the fact that the reactor produced energy, itwas also a springboard for various experiments. Today the station is not operated. Having successfully worked for 48 years, the reactor was drowned in late April 2002.

Meteorological mast in Obninsk
