Explanatory note to the project - requirements for registration
Explanatory note to the project is considered onefrom the basic documents when doing a course or diploma work. It is here that all the necessary information on the justification of the chosen design, its description, application areas, technical characteristics is collected, all necessary calculations are presented.
To correctly and competently develop thisdocument, it is necessary to thoroughly study special educational, normative and periodical literature. Explanatory note to the project should cover all the main issues of the topic. In this document there must be an analysis of the literature, and the results of independent research or experiments, all the characteristic features of the design or detail are necessarily considered, and a complex mathematical calculation of all the main nodes is carried out.
Any project, be it a student thesiswork on the development of a new node or machine parts, the introduction of new equipment in production or design development, architectural design of a building or structure, must necessarily consist of two parts: design and explanatory. If the explanatory note to the architectural project, diploma or coursework is missing or done incorrectly, the graphic part will be considered only theoretical developments.
The text part of the work should be framedaccording to the standards of ESKD (Unified System of Design Documentation) and the requirements of the SPDS standards (System of Design Documentation for Construction) to design documents. The sheets with the text must have the appropriate form and the main inscription, all (except for the title one) are numbered and filed in a special folder.
Explanatory note to the diploma project must necessarily have the following sections:
1. Title page with the title of the project theme.
2. The content of the work - the relevant sections and subsections, the list of attached drawings and diagrams are indicated.
3. Introduction, consisting of a review of the sources used, the analytical and theoretical parts.
4. Economic part, justifying the technical and economic indicators of the design being developed.
5. Part with calculations on safety in the operation of construction and labor protection.
6. In the final part, conclusions are drawn about the project, the significance and justification of the choice.
7. List of used literature and sources.
8. Applications (diagrams, tables and design drawings).
Explanatory note to the project must havea clear structure and a consistent line of presentation. Persuasive arguments and precise calculations, brief and clear language - the basic requirements for the compilation of the textual part.
Explanatory note to the project is carried out onpaper format A4. The text can be written by hand in a clear and comprehensible handwriting or executed with the help of printing equipment. When using office equipment text should have a double spacing between the lines.
