Viktor Pavlovich Barannikov was born in1940, October 20 (place of birth: Fedosyevka village, Pozharsky district, Primorye). Having received the certificate of maturity, the young man got a job as a simple turner at the Elabuga Mechanical Plant.

Career in the "security" department
