Alexander Gorbachev: biography and photos

Alexander Gorbachev is a famous Soviet andRussian football player. I played in the midfield position. In the middle of 2000 he began his coaching career. Currently he works at Igor Cherevchenko's headquarters in the Kaliningrad "Baltic". In 1995 he was awarded the title of Master of Sports.

The debut in "Signal"

Alexander Gorbachev was born in the town of Izobilny, which is located in the Stavropol Territory. This happened in 1970.

In Stavropol he graduated from the Olympic Reserve School. In professional football, Gorbachev Alexander made his debut at age 18 in the "Signal" team from his native town of Izobilny.

In 1988, the team only formed and applied for participation in the championship of the RSFSR. Successfully performing in the zone starts, the team achieved the right to participate in the next season in the USSR championship.

Before the start of the championship, the core of the team were young players, among whom was Alexander Gorbachev. In the USSR championship "Signal" was in the thirdzone of the second league. The team played quite successfully in home games, however, often lost a lot at home. For example, 1: 6 from Nalchinsk "Spartacus" and 0: 5 from the Yerevan "Prometheus". The first successes of the football player

Despite the unsuccessful performance of the team from his native city, serious clubs drew attention to Alexander Gorbachev. In 1990, he even found himself in the double of the Moscow CSKA.

However, he soon continued his career in the KAMAZ teamfrom Naberezhnye Chelny. In the early 90's the club from Tatarstan performed in the Central zone of the second league. The team spent exactly one year, being in the middle of the standings. On the 10th place among 22 teams. This season was the last championship of the USSR. For 1992 KAMAZ got the right to perform in the First League of the Russian Championship.

However, after the club, Gorbachev did not go. He played for "Asmaral" from Kislovodsk, after two seasons spent in Stavropol "Dynamo". Then he returned to KAMAZ.

The debut in the Major League

In 1994, debuted in the Premier League, Alexander Gorbachev. Football player did not immediately get a place in the starting lineup, but in the course of the season he got accustomed and began to regularly get in the application.

For the team from Naberezhnye Chelny the same yearone of the most successful in history. The team played powerfully in its field, losing only once (Moscow "Spartak" - 1: 3). In 1999, Baltika struggled to return to the elite of Russian football, but it was only the fifth.

Return to the Major League

After the "Baltika" could not with the firstattempts to return to the Major Leagues, Gorbachev left the club, signing a contract with the Voronezh "Torch". The team spent the entire season at the bottom of the standings, but secured themselves from the struggle for survival, finishing 13th out of 16 teams in the end.

Gorbachev then briefly played in the Elista "Uralan" and the Krasnoyarsk "Metallurg". And in 2002 he returned to the Baltika. Here he spent four more seasons, until the very end of his career.

In 2002, Gorbachev became the champion of the Second League,taking first place in the zone "West". Kaliningraders won 35 games out of 38 without suffering a single defeat. In the national team

A young promising football player has appeared many timeson the pencil of the coaches of the national team, but in the national team has never been called and was not. But he distinguished himself at the World Universiade in 1995, which was held in Japanese Fukuoka.

At the tournament, the Russian team was 90% composed of players from Chelny KAMAZ, Gorbachev entered it.

In the debut match, our team wonAmericans 2: 0. Then defeated the national team of Nigeria - 3: 0. If in the first match, Gorbachev came on as a substitute, then he appeared on the field in the starting lineup and played all 90 minutes. Coach career

One of the brightest seasons in which he was the head coach of the team, was 2015-2016.

The team confidently debuted in the championship, taking third place after three rounds. However, then the results began to decline. The number of draws and defeats pulled the club to the bottom of the standings.

As a result, in 38 rounds, only11 times, 11 more times Kaliningraders tied and suffered 16 defeats. The team noted a rather low performance. Only 37 goals scored with 47 missed.

At the end of the season, "Baltika" took 17th place,being among the five teams that were supposed to leave the championship of the Football National League. However, just two clubs from the Second Division refused to increase in the class. They were "Smena" from Komsomolsk-on-Amur and Nizhny Novgorod "Volga". As a result, their place in the First Division was taken by the Krasnoyarsk "Yenisei" and the Kaliningrad "Baltika".
