Biography

Alexander Kogan was born in 1980, 15April, in Dushanbe. At the age of six he moved to Moscow with his family. In 1990, Valery Kogan, the father of our hero, is sent to work in New York at the UN headquarters. The family leaves for the USA.

Education

Alexander Kogan was educated in America. In 1995-1998 he was a student at the College of Woodside Priory in California. Later he entered George Mason University in Virginia. By education is a political scientist. He plays the guitar and piano.

Musical career

Alexander Kogan began to take an interest in art withseven years. It was then that he was attracted to playing the piano. The first sketches of his own works for this instrument he appeared at the age of 14 years. When he was 18, he gathered a musical group. He combined creativity and study. Having received higher education, he managed to play in a musical collective. He spoke at various student events. With touring traveled a lot of American cities.

After graduation at the university, he returned toMoscow. In 2001 he began to cooperate with Alla Pugacheva. Taking a pseudonym Christian Ako, he writes a few songs. In 2004-2010, Alexander Kogan engaged in a solo career, while working with American producers: David Foster and Walter Afanasyev. The artist performs in New York at a solo concert. In 2011, he starts cooperation with Viktor Drobysh, a Russian producer and composer. The result of this collaboration is the recording of the single Who Invented the World. The song brings to our hero the Golden Gramophone. Then followed the creation of several more songs.

In 2012 in New York at the concert was an acquaintance with Julio Iglesias. In 2013, the latter invites our hero to open concerts in Ukraine and Russia. At the end of this tour Julio Iglesias proposes to continue cooperation in the world tour. The composer opened concerts in South America, Holland, Canada, Israel, USA, Great Britain, Ireland. As an honored guest musician several times participated in the "Slavic Bazaar." He was also invited to the international contest "New Wave", passing Jurmala and Sochi. In 2014, as a special guest took part in the concert "Stars of the 21st Century Ballet". Between tours I worked on my own debut album together with Victor Drobysh.
