Puppet Theater (Volgograd): history, repertoire, troupe

Puppet theater (Volgograd) exists since the first half of the 20th century. Its repertoire is designed for young spectators, although adults with great pleasure watch performances of the puppet theater.

History

The Puppet Theater (Volgograd) was opened in 1937year. Although he existed before, but he was amateur. And in 37 year the department of arts of the city issued a decree recognizing his professional theater. The troupe was small, it included only nine actors. The theater did not have its own premises, theatrical performances were shown on the stage of the Theater of Young Spectators or they went with them to kindergartens, schools and to the countryside. At that time, the troupe experimented and tried to stage performances for an adult audience. The repertoire included productions "The Night Before Christmas", "The Devil's Mill", "The Case of Divorce", "Toy". The Children's Puppet Theater (Volgograd) received its own building in 1956. It is located at: Prospect VI. Lenina, house number 15. Many performances of the theater are different in that they use two plans at once - live and puppet. The very first such synthetic production was the tale "Buratino". This performance was shown for the first time in the 50s of the 20th century. The main character of this tale soon became the emblem of the theater. The troupe began to actively tour throughout the USSR and other countries. With the Volgograd puppeteers, the famous S.V. Samples. Since 2003 and to this day the director of the puppet theater is Alexander Nikolaenko. Thanks to her, the troupe began to tour more, went to various festivals, creative contacts were established. The repertoire was added. Since 2005, the theater began to conduct its own festival called "Silver Sturgeon". The theater pays much attentioncharity. Every year on June 1 he holds an action called "Faith, Hope, Love." Within its framework, free performances are held for children from disadvantaged, large and poor families, disabled people, as well as from orphanages and children's homes. In addition, interesting meetings are held in the club "Hot pies". Adults and children read the roles of different tales. The walls are decorated with children's drawings. Premieres of the season

Puppet Theater (Volgograd) in the season 2015-2016prepared several premieres for his audience. This is a fairy tale by AS. Pushkin "On the fisherman and the fish."
