Grounding bus: main features and characteristics
When organizing work of any kindelectrical equipment basic requirements are always reliability and safety. Only a properly tuned electrical network can work efficiently and efficiently. The grounding bar is the most important component of the power grid, the purpose of which is to provide a high level of safety when working with a variety of devices. First of all, such a conductor is used to enter grounding loops from various conductive elements of the switchboard, as well as to organize external security.
A common grounding bus, or, in other words, a zero bus, is installed, as a rule, on the chassis of the enclosures, and it will be the electrical enclosures that will be connected to it in the future.
The conductor is located vertically on the sides of the electrical cabinet and is attached using several bolts.
After installation, all earthing devices must be necessarily painted in violet.
Earthing of various electrical appliances anddevices is carried out according to the state standard, implying the use of two types of grounding buses: the REC-ET2-M model and the REC-ET model. Fastening of the first is carried out directly to the mounting profiles of electrical cabinets and racks and provides the possibility of connecting 16 or more contours, and the second type of ground bus requires the use of a special organizer, with which the supply and installation of up to 9 wires will subsequently be carried out.
Copper ground buses are used forinstallation of electrical cabinets, a variety of process equipment, ventilation boxes, etc. Such devices are ideally suited for use in both indoor and outdoor environments.
