What is industrial Barnaul famous for? CHP-2 in this city since 2012 is part of the joint-stock company Barnaulskaya Generatsiya, which, in turn, was formed on the basis of the reorganized energy company Kuzbassenergo. History of heat supply of the city
Barnaulskaya CHPP was built in accordance withdecision of the Council of Ministers of the USSR. At that time, three boilers with a serious capacity of 170 tons of steam per hour were put into operation. Earned and three turbines, the total capacity of which amounted to 75 mW. In the nineties of the last century, the capacity of CHPP-2 was switched to a mode of operation based on natural gas. Accident at the power station
CHPP-2 is known, in particular, because of the accident atenterprise. At the beginning of this year, there was an unusual situation that led to serious problems of a technical nature. Barnaulskaya CHPP-2 suffered from a fire. As a result, the power supply cables of the pumps supplying water were damaged. There was a stop of two turbines and three boilers. At the same time, two turbines and four boilers remained in operation. The city had to declare a state of emergency. It should be noted that by the end of the next working day the situation was stabilized, and the accident at CHPP-2 was localized. The station entered the normal work schedule for supplying the heating network with water in a temperature regime of about 85 degrees. The houses that were left without hot water again received water supply in the normal regime.
Today's day stations
At the moment, CHP-2 not only functions in thenormal mode, but also generates energy in volumes that significantly exceed previous indicators. So, in March this year, the thermal power plant produced 101 million kWh of electric power, which is more than 7% higher than the same indicator of last year's performance. The analysis of quarterly indicators is not less optimistic. According to quarterly results, the increase in energy production was more than 27%.
This trend was made possible by the introduction ofThe operation of new equipment in March and December last year. The eighth and ninth blocks of the station underwent significant modernization in accordance with the program of capacity supply agreements. Investments in the station (which is about 6 billion rubles) had a direct impact on improving its technical condition. Now that the new equipment is already in operation, the capacity of CHPP-2 has increased by 20 MW. It is noteworthy that the adjacent organization - CHPP-3, is by far one of the most productive Russian generating companies.

CHPP-2 in Berezniki
New capacities should replace the existing onemore than half a century Berezniki thermal power plant. Equipment has already been delivered to Berezniki. It is difficult to build in the open field, on the one hand. It is necessary to erect all necessary auxiliary infrastructure buildings. However, on the other hand, such a construction option will help create a truly modern compact complex without unnecessary equipment and unnecessary for today's industrial systems.
