Methods of quality control of products

Quality control of products is an obligatory component of any production process, which is aimed at detecting defects or defects in finished products and checking the process of its production.

Quality control methods are applied at allstages of production, starting with the verification of materials and raw materials and ending with the control of compliance of the finished product with technical parameters. This process involves testing the product as the individual parts are ready.

Verification within a particular enterprise is carried out by the central quality assurance service. The functions of such control include the following:

- development of quality indicators for each type of product;

- accepted quality control methods and test procedure;

- detailed analysis of complaints;

- Identification of possible causes of marriage and measures to eliminate it.

For the implementation of this procedure is very importanthave indicators of product quality, means and methods of verification, testing equipment, the results of the analysis of complaints, possible causes of defects.

Currently, there are many ways to verify. Let's consider statistical methods of quality control of products.

The main purpose of the statistical control methodis the exclusion of any random changes in the quality of the product produced. Such changes can be caused by specific reasons that need to be fixed and eliminated.

Selective control is applied when necessarydecision on the quality of the product. This happens, as a rule, when a large batch is received based on the results of testing a certain number of samples from a given batch. Most often, such control methods are conducted when receiving component materials or products from suppliers. They allow to reduce the material costs of monitoring and are applied when the product is to be disassembled during the inspection.

Quality control methods also meanconsideration of the technological process used both in production and in the service sector. This control consists in the detection of problems in the production of products associated with unstable quality. In this case, the production process must be corrected.

There are also other methods of quality control:

1. The method of histograms - an effective tool for processing information, intended for use in production, as well as to explore the possibilities of the technological process.

2. The method of delamination, which is based on reliable information. It is used to obtain specific data and establish cause-effect relationships.

3. Method of control charts. Such control charts reflect the change in process indicators over time. They mark the range of mandatory dispersion, which lies within the lower and upper limits. Such a method makes it possible to trace very quickly when the drift of parameters on a specific indicator during the technological process has begun. The goal is to carry out preventive measures and prevent the marriage of the finished product.

As mentioned above, control cardsapply when it is necessary to carry out quality control precisely in the production process. They include all information about the technological process. Variants of recording can be different. The choice of these depends on the type of products and the purposes of its production.

So, the main task pursued by methodsproduct quality control - detection of the problem, determination of at what stage the production went out of control, and taking the necessary measures to correct defects and errors of the technological process.
