Compressor at the VAZ
Mounting the compressor on the VAZ, you can enougheffectively increase the power of the motor. Due to the fact that the air supply to the fuel system is increasing, the fuel-air mass entering the cylinder increases. However, the installation of the compressor also has negative sides. In particular, it increases fuel consumption.
To strengthen the compressor on the engine, you will need the kit itself, a set of keys, an abrasive paste, a sensor for monitoring the boost pressure, an air filter with a reduced resistance.
The increase in power is due to an increase in air concentration in the fuel system.
The installation should be started after a fullcooling auto power unit. After that it is necessary to dismantle the air duct, as well as a standard air filter. Next, unscrew the bolts securing the collector in the exhaust pipe, and carefully polish the nozzles. Their surface should be perfectly smooth. On the bracket for tension rollers, made in the form of the letter T, and the motor unit, the mounting bracket for the compressor is mounted. The belts for driving the pump and generator should be removed as is no longer needed. Instead, they use a special belt. They are equipped with a compressor at the VAZ. The belt should be tightened well, however, it is not necessary to overdo it. A small sagging must remain. Otherwise, the increased wear of the part is likely, which will lead to its rupture. This, respectively, will lead to a drop in power (or only a slight increase) and adversely affect the state of the cooling system. After adjusting the belt tension,set back the inlet spider. The duct is reassembled from the outlet in the "snail" to the inlet in the injector. It is recommended to avoid too sharp kinks in the corrugated elements. In addition, the contact of the air duct with the hot parts of the motor should be avoided. Next, you attach a low-pass filterresistance. The compressor on the VAZ has an inlet branch pipe. A filter must be attached to it. It should be located in the coldest part of the engine compartment. When compressed, air is heated, it becomes, in addition, more discharged. The lower, thus, the temperature at the inlet, the more it eventually gets into the motor. Due to this, the air-fuel charge will increase in its mass, and, accordingly, the power of the power unit of the car.
After installing the compressor, you must configureinjector in accordance with changed air supply conditions. This is necessary in order for the engine to receive a "rich" mixture. As a rule, the setting is not performed independently. For this, there are specialized services.
And on the dashboard, you need to fix the turbocharging pressure sensor. He will warn about probable problems, and will promote economical driving.

After the compressor has been installed, the air resistance must be set at the minimum level. It should be said again that all work should be done after the engine is completely cooled.
