The central figure of the state emblem -rider, which originates from ancient rock paintings or, as they are called, pisanits, discovered near the small village of Shishkino near the town of Verkholensk on the banks of the Lena River. Figures were found by scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences participating in the expedition in 1545. The scriptures depict the great-grandfathers of the Yakuts, the Kurumchyns, who were engaged in cattle breeding and were expelled from the Baikal region by strong neighboring enemies. A rider holding a flag with three "tails" is symbolic and personifies the unity of the tribes in one nation - the Kurumchin people. The Banner unites 2 concepts - the power and guarantee of the existence of the tribe, as a whole. The coat of arms and the flag of Yakutia are symbols of cohesion and friendship of the peoples living on its territory.

The sun (shield) is made in light silver color,the silhouette of the rider is dark cherry. Small details of the coat of arms are made in the following tones: edging - dark blue, and the ornament - white. The chosen palette of these colors is not accidental, each shade has a certain value. So, silver and white indicate the purity of human thoughts and actions, scarlet - treated as life, blue - symbolizes devotion, sincerity and reliability. Therefore, the coat of arms is very much appreciated and respected by the indigenous people, Yakutia is inhabited by very friendly and hospitable people.

Also unique and original national flagRepublic of Sakha, having a rectangular shape, on which there are different horizontal stripes and a white circle, which are different in width and color. The banner repeats the color design of the flag of Russia, but with some differences. So, a white band with a white circle against the blue sky characterizes the severe and cold beauty of the North. It is not for nothing that the Yakuts are called "the children of the white sun."
