Design

The mechanism of work
With the help of a shock-trigger mechanism,made on the kurkovuyu type, carabiners "Vepr" provides production of single shots and their setting on the fuse. In this case, this flag-type part is made two-sided with two levers on the right side of the receiver, and one - already on the left. To facilitate and speed of the process of attaching the cartridge store to the carabiner itself, a receiver is provided on it. To combat corrosion and increase durability, the channel with the barrel chamber, as well as the valve stem with the gas chamber are chrome plated.
Innovations
The shutter group and the receiver of thiscarabiner manufacturer has redesigned taking into account the use in it and hunting cartridges. At the same time, the self-timer was removed from the shock-trigger mechanism, and the gas-venting mechanism became self-regulating and allows shooting both with cartridges at a sleeve of 70 mm and with 76 mm without additional adjustments. The "Vepr" is a rifle, the aiming devices of which, like the Kalashnikov assault rifle, are made entirely adjustable and with a flies arranged above the gas chamber. The lid on the receiver is not detachable, but simply reclines upwards and forwards, again in analogy with the AKS. In addition, it additionally provides a guide for the type of Picatinny rail for the ability to quickly and easily install a variety of additional sights, which are attached to the corresponding brackets.
The gun is supplied with cartridges fromSingle-row plastic stores with a capacity of eight charges. The rifle "Vepr" is made of metal, made of a skeleton structure with folding sideways. Its butt outside to increase the comfort of shooting in frosty or hot weather is covered with plastic.
