Although in our country for hunting more use smoothbore guns and carbines, but due to changes in requirements for hunting trophies (causing minimal damage), there is a growing demand for rifled weapons. Modern cartridges for him ideally should meet the following requirements:

- to possess range and accuracy of flight;

- have a stopping action;

- to have controlled expansiveness;

- to save your weight as much as possible;

- cause minimal damage.

To date, these requirements are met by all-metal versions and bullets having a sheath connected to the core. But they produce mainly those that belong to the category of fragmentation.
