Vorobyovy Gory - observation deck

About eighty meters above the water levelThe Moscow River is this site and is the highest place in the whole district. To get to the Vorobyovy Gory, the viewing platform of which is located so high, you need to get off at the subway station of the same name and climb up the hill on foot, or, after paying a certain amount, on the lift.
Vorobyovy mountains, an observation deck of whichis the most famous in the city, and across the country, are a place where almost all tourists and residents of this huge metropolis come. No one will be indifferent to the sight of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the bell tower of the Novodevichy Convent. On the left hand is the huge business complex "Moscow City", on the right hand the Academy of Sciences and the Shukhov television tower are visible, and when the lights on Moscow are lit, you can see the Kremlin, located far away on Red Square. One of the wonderful traditions of the Muscovites is the coming here on New Year and Victory Day, so that the Sparrow Hills, whose viewing platform gives a wonderful view, presented them with a magnificent spectacle of festive salutes and fireworks.
Also from here it is clearly visible located absolutelynext to the Church of the Trinity of the Life-Giving. This Orthodox church was built in the early nineteenth century in classical style, and originally the church was built in the distant fifteenth century. Directly opposite the site is the tallest building of Stalin's times, which until recently was not equal either in our country or in all of Europe - the main building of the Moscow State University, 36 floors of which rise to a height of almost 250 meters.
