Who are these mysterious sentineltsy?
Externally Sentineltsy, completely isolated fromworld, look like blacks, characterized by dark skin, curly hair and a low, up to 150 cm, height. Perhaps, they appeared on this territory even from the time of belonging of the Andaman archipelago to the territory of Indonesia. Later a piece of land broke away and flew with all the contents into the ocean.

North Sentinel Island: information collected by the grains
The first evidence of the existence of the islandappeared in 1771. The basis for such assumptions was the information of the British inspector, who reported a dim light from the homes, most likely located inside the island. In 1867, a merchant ship collapsed near the banks of Sentinel; 106 sailors thrown ashore threatened to be killed by inhospitable Aborigines. They managed to escape thanks to a nearby warship.
In the 19th century, Sentinel was approached by thefugitive convict police. Finding the body of the criminal with a cut throat and pierced with arrows, the defenders of the law quickly rushed to retire.
In 2006, the Sentinel shooters were killedTwo poor fishermen who were engaged in illegal fishing near the island. A helicopter was sent for the bodies, which the natives fired from the bows. The pilots managed to understand that the corpses were still buried, because the wind from the blades had exposed their bodies buried not deep.
Lifestyle Aboriginal
A large number of attempts were made to establishcontact with the islanders: on the beach they were left with food, objects that could be useful on the farm, that is, a traditional way of getting to know unknown wild tribes was used. The northern Sentinel island on its shores saw abandoned pigs, coconuts, colorful buckets. It is known that the food was eaten, the pigs were killed and buried, and only copies of red were of interest from the buckets. According to observations of anthropologists, the islanders live off hunting, fishing and gathering, because on the ground there are no characteristic signs of any treatment. Scientists have found out that they take metal for arrows from the sea, constantly throwing out various garbage on the shore, treating it and skillfully sprinkling it into spears and arrows. Observers also noted that there are three types of tips: sharp, designed for fishing and hunting, and blunt - for warning shots. The islanders have no boats, because they have never been seen crossing to the nearby islands or fishing in canoes.
In 2001, there were attempts to more accurately identifynumber of people living on the island. The census was conducted from the air, counted 21 men and 18 women. According to the anthropologists' assumptions, the hut, built of twigs laid out with a cone, is divided into two families or three to four people. The data are very approximate, because the calculation done in this way can not be exact. The number of islanders could be affected by the tsunami that happened in 2004 - one of the worst natural disasters in history. Of the maximum 9.5 points of magnitude was 9.3 points. The Andamans suffered very seriously, but the Sentinelis still managed to survive. Regarding the Sentinel language: it may belong to the group of Andaman languages, but nothing is known about it at all.
