We are writing a diploma. Decor
Work on the diploma project and its protection -the last step separating the student from the coveted diploma. But even here there are a lot of delays associated with the design of the text and illustrative part of the thesis work. Today we will talk about this.
We are writing a diploma. Design of the text part
Unfortunately, at the moment there is nouniform standards, therefore educational institutions, based on their practice, establish their own rules. The head of the project simply can not accept from the graduate a diploma, the registration of which does not correspond to the declared requirements. In addition, the final qualifying work will be kept at the department for 5 years and may well be caught by the eyes of any of the inspectors.
Just want to warn that the examples thatare given in this article, are taken from various methodological manuals, and the rules of registration of the diploma 2013 in your university may differ. Be careful!
So, at the moment Microsoft Word is the mosta common software package that allows you to design and print both the illustrative part and directly the diploma. The design, the rules of which we will discuss below, focuses precisely on this application program.
To get started, let's take a look at the layout of the page, or ratherfields: left - 3 cm, right - 1.5 cm, upper - 2 cm, bottom - 2 cm. As for the font, then the standard is the Times New Roman 14 pins. Please note that all work, including headings, must be typed in one font. You can only change the font size and its shape. Pages should be numbered, subject to end-to-end numbering from the title to the list of literature and applications (if any). The title page is the first page, although the figure "1" is not put. Also not marked, but are included in the overall numbering of the content and the first page of introduction. Thus, you should start from the fourth page, that is, where the text begins.
Registration of chapters and sections
Each new chapter is printed on a new page, while the sections are running in a row. Chapters and sub-chapters should be entitled, with headings typed in capital letters with no punctuation at the end. Schemes and tables are not placed in the application and placed inside the text. In this case they have a common numbering. Each must be signed. For example: "Table 1", below is its name. The rest of the illustrative material is placed in the annexes, which follow the bibliography and have a separate numbering.
Bibliography
A bibliography or bibliography is an obligatory element that must contain any diploma. The design of this part, as a rule, varies greatly.
It is recommended to the graduate to use not less than 40 sources containing normative legal acts, scientific and educational literature, periodicals, electronic resources.
