The building of the Moscow government: modern and under construction
The building of the government of Moscow under construction isa complex of four skyscrapers on the territory of the center "Moscow City". The height of each will be 308 meters with the number of floors equal to 71. For communication between them, pedestrian bridges will be built, including at the top of the buildings.
In accordance with the plan, in the newgovernment complex will be located all the services and departments related to the legislative and executive authorities of the city of Moscow. To the right of it there is a conference hall - a body of cylindrical type, in which 1000 people can be located at a time To the left is the hotel "Mir", which is an 11-storey building. All of them are connected with each other by a 2-storey bridge. It houses a meeting room, a printing house, a lobby and a restaurant.
In addition, there is a large exhibition hall on the territory of the complex.
Location of the CMEA and exhibition hall

You can approach it by car from Kutuzovsky Prospekt, Sadovoe Koltso, Novy Arbat and from other directions. The complex of buildings is located on the bank of the Moskva River. The construction was started in September 2005. It was deployed on the territory of the business center "Moscow City" under the leadership of the former Moscow Mayor Yuri Luzhkov. According to him, a complex will be built, consisting of 4 buildings of 70 floors each. There will be offices of the legislative and executive authorities of Moscow. And the construction must be carried out in a short time. Budget funds for the implementation of works will not be required. It is planned to build the building on the basis of collateral.
The influence of economic factors on the course of construction
However, in practice, the work was significantly delayed. So, as of February 2008, the construction was at the stage of foundation and underground structures. At the end of 2008, due to the economic crisis, the construction completion dates were shifted for an indefinite period of time. As the deputy of the City Duma Ivan Novitsky said, originally in plans to finish the construction of buildings by 2011, however, now no clear deadlines are established.
According to an unnamed source, in the currentthe situation of finding an investor willing to donate their funds on a no-cost basis and give up half of the constructed areas is almost impossible.
In April 2010, plans were changed tothe functional purpose of some parts of buildings. This was to facilitate the work in the business center "Moscow City". The total area of all skyscrapers will be 806 000 m2. In addition to offices, there will also behotel and business apartments. The percentage of administrative zones will decrease from half to 30 percent. Discussion of the new project with investors was planned for autumn 2010.
