Normal computer temperature
There is no such person who would be unfamiliarthe symptoms accompanying catarrhal diseases - a decline in strength and an increase in body temperature. Sometimes the latter reaches such high values (up to 40 degrees Celsius) that it is necessary to take measures to reduce it. But if it is quite familiar and familiar, the owners of computers will be interested to know that sometimes the temperature of the computer rises.
At first glance, it may seem thatto understand why the temperature of the computer rises and what to do about it - the prerogative of service center employees. This is not quite true. Workshops can be compared to hospitals. A self-monitoring and the adoption of simple measures, thanks to which the computer's temperature remains within acceptable limits, with prevention. Well, the latter, as you know, is more preferable.
Unfortunately, indicate what is normalcomputer temperature, impossible. This affects the class of installed components - powerful allocate more heat and for them the concept of permissible norm is higher. Tentatively, we can assume that the value of 70 degrees - the limit. Accordingly, the norm is up to 50 Celsius. More details are discussed below.
The main sources of heating are: a video card (especially discrete models), a central processor, some elements of the motherboard.
The first two mentioned components consist ofmillions of transistors, each of which emits a little heat during operation. For its retraction devices placed on the cooling system - metal radiator and blower fans. By the way, the noise of a working computer arises just because of the flow of air from the rotating blades. Then everything is simple: when the cooling system is covered with dust (which is inevitable), heat dissipation efficiency falls, and the heating rate increases.
The result is as follows:
- Decrease in productivity of all system;
- spontaneous reboots, frequent hangs and other malfunctions;
- distortion on the screen;
- impossibility of loading, when using the corresponding item in the BIOS settings;
- component failure.
This is what excessive temperatures can lead tocomputer. A program that allows you to check the heating levels is called AIDA. This is a powerful diagnostic application that can "tell" about all the features of installed components, including their temperature.
After downloading, installing and running, you need toin the program, select the "Sensor" item in the "Computer" section. The current temperatures of the main components will be displayed: the board, the processor, the video card, the hard drive.
So, "PCH diode" indicates the heating of the main board,it should not be above 65 degrees; "CPU Package" - the central processor, no higher than 70 Celsius (you can watch separately on the cores); "Diode GP" is a video card, not more than 70. To find out the exact values of permissible temperatures for installed components, go to the manufacturers' websites, specify the component type and read the permissible heating values. For example, if an Intel processor is installed on the computer, you should go to the appropriate site, specify the type (for example, Corei3-2120), and find the allowable heating temperature in the specification table.
