No image on the monitor: causes and solutions

If your image suddenly disappears on your monitor,do not rush to despair and go to the service center or, even more, buy a new one. In this article, I will offer you some tips on how to solve this type of problem yourself, and also explain the reasons why it does not have an image.

So, let's start: there is no picture on the monitor, what should I do?

1. Check the power of the equipment. To do this, you need to see if the monitor cable is connected securely to the power source (outlet), if the correct connection is made on almost every model of any monitor, the indicator light should be on or flashing.
2. Check that the cable is connected correctly to theto the system unit. It is not superfluous to remove the cable from the connector for 10-15 seconds and insert it back. Naturally, this action should be performed in the absence of power to the computer.
3. In the event that there is no image on the monitor, andwhen you turn on the system unit you hear a sound (usually similar to a squeak), most likely, the video card jumped out of the connector. In this case, it is necessary to turn off the PC, remove the cover of the system unit, remove the video card and insert it into place again. Turn on the computer.
