Where is "Kazantip" - the annual music festival?

Annual musical festival "Kazantip"collects every year more and more participants. Which is not surprising, because this is a bright and fascinating sight. Whoever at least heard about him, for sure, was looking for information about where the "Kazantip" passes. By tradition, this bright musical and dance event opens in the Crimea, on one of the beaches of Evpatoria.

And it all began in 1993, when at CapeKazantip was a sports competition in windsurfing. Participants of the competition decided to "tear themselves away" from sports everyday life and staged the first bright musical show. Later, in 1995, near the same place was the festival of electronic music. It also brought together athletes and musicians. Thus, this festival united music, sports and recreation. Cape Kazantip, which gave its name to the festival,is located in the north of the Crimean peninsula and has the appearance of a boiler. No wonder in translation from the Turkic "kazantip" means "the bottom of the boiler." In addition, in Ukraine, this cape is a protected area, as well as a unique natural monument.

The loud name of the festival attracted attentiononly sportsmen and local musicians, but also representatives of informal movements. Every year they find out where the "Kazantip" passes, and come together to plunge into a bright noisy show that lasts a month and a half. The dates of its holding are unchanged from July 15 to August 30. And here where passes or takes place? The festival "Kazantip" is a show on the beach near the village of Popovka, located in the suburbs of Evpatoria. This is one of the most picturesque and cozy corners of the Crimea, a favorite holiday destination for local youth.

Where Kazantip passes, calmA measured life explodes with a bright extravaganza. This show is breathtaking beauty. Here people gather who love freedom, the sea and the sun, life and communication. People come here to look at others, and to show oneself. The noise of the surf is drowned out for all 24 hours a day by very different music. Anyone who has a ticket in his hand - a yellow suitcase - is welcome here. So it was already decided that this attribute became the symbol of the place called "Kazantip".

Throughout the beach near Popovkathere are about a hundred bars, more than ten dance floors, attractions, Internet cafes, sports grounds, restaurants and cafes. In 2007, on the same beach were built a kind of flyover and an unusual building called "Mars", where you can not get to everyone, but only by special invitation. Over time, the trendy get-together has evolved into something more. The current "Kazantip-2013", where the annual music festival of all directions takes place, is a republic of freedom. And its participants consider themselves a part of it. But the life of the republic lasts only 1.5 months a year.

Many of the participants absolutely do not care wherepasses "Kazantip", they gather every year in Evpatoria, Feodosia, Kerch in the middle of July and from there go to the very epicenter of musical events. Hundreds of DJs, among whom there are metropolitan and foreign guests, are happy to show their creativity to thousands of music fans. Here they rest, forget about everyday problems, rejoice and relax.
