Orange cake

Spring always wants something fruit andnecessarily delicious. So I decided to rummage among the recipes of sweet pastries, flipped through several pages of the Internet and found interesting recipes. In general, I decided to bake an orange cake - in the life of exotics a little will not hurt. This cake is very lush and amazing. Earlier it seemed to me that cakes are better baked in industrial confectioneries, but sometimes, after reading the composition on the label, you are convinced that it is better to bake cakes at home.

For the cakes we need 200 grams of wheat flour, one batch of baking powder, 100 grams of any nuts (I had peanuts), 50 grams of poppy, 3 chicken eggs and 150 grams of sugar.

For cream: 4 eggs, orange peel and juice of the same, 100 grams of butter and half a glass of sugar. Since this is an orange cake, you will need candied orange rings to decorate the finished cake. Therefore, take 2 medium oranges, cut into rings, put in a saucepan and pour two glasses of water. After dropping 250 grams of sugar and stirring, cook a little, closing the lid until the crust is softer. Then we remove from the fire and we sit.

Prepare the dough for the cakes. Beat eggs with sugar until a homogeneous mass is formed. Separately connect the flour, baking powder, ground peanuts (I grinded in a coffee grinder) and poppy seeds. Then carefully drive into the egg mass dry flour mixture. The form is lubricated, lined with pastry paper and baked in a warm oven.

Orange cake is inconceivable without orangecream, so we will prepare it later. Orange juice and eggs whisk, add butter, sugar, orange zest, all mix and put on a water bath. Stir until the cream is thick. On the cream, it took me 20 minutes.

Cooled cake cut along three cakes. Lubricate each layer with orange cream, the sides can also be coated. From above decorate our candied oranges. Well, I've got an orange cake. The recipe was just wonderful. It can be baked for children's birthday, for any family holiday. I baked an orange cake for family tea drinking, which became a traditional occupation for us on Saturday.

If you go shopping, you can find out that the counters are also bursting with the abundance and variety of cakes and pies. But there's nothing better than homemade cakes. For example, a pie from oranges.

For baking we need 6 eggs, 600 gramsflour, two packages of baking powder, 300 grams of sugar, three ripe oranges. The cake is biscuit, so it is important to properly prepare the dough for orange pie. Yolks and proteins carefully separated from each other. Whisk the whites in a dry container (the container must be absolutely dry, since even a drop of water can affect the splendor of the biscuit). Whisk yolks and sugar in another container. Then we put everything together, put in flour in small handfuls and knead the dough. Do not forget about the baking powder. Next, we clean oranges from the peel and divide into segments. The membranes can be removed, so the taste of the cake turns out to be more fragrant. Then we lubricate the form with oil, lining with confectionery paper, so that the cake does not burn, we carefully put our biscuit. For the dough, put orange slices (you can dip them in the dough a little, so they do not burn) and bake in the oven until cooked. You can check the readiness with a toothpick or match. Pour the cake with powdered sugar and serve for tea.

By the way, oranges can be replaced by any otherfruit or berries. In the summer, when the raspberry ripens in the garden, you can bake a raspberry pie - it turns out very tasty and so "pink" on the cut. Color pies are very popular with children, and strive to sneak a piece. And adults do not mind eating a sweet pie. So bake a cake or a pie and please yourself and your loved ones. Have a nice tea!
