Using this particular filling in baking is much more practical, because, for example, jam is a more whimsical product. After all, very often a roll bursts, and it flows out, burning up. A poppy is a fairly thick filling and also provides beautiful layers of the finished product when sliced. And the fragrance will be wonderful!

Preparation of the filling

Regardless of what kind of dough roulet is bakedwith poppy seeds, the recipe of the internal filler can not be changed. Mix 100 ml of milk with three tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan. After boiling, fill up the poppy (300g) and a bag of vanilla sugar. After cooking on low heat for five minutes, leave the mixture for swelling, closing the lid. The filling is used in a cooled form.

To make such a bake, you will needapproximately 2.5 hours. In warm milk (2 cups), dissolve one packet of dry yeast (two full teaspoons). After pouring for 15-20 minutes, add half-cups of melted butter or margarine to the mixture, 100 g of sour cream, half a glass of sugar, 3 eggs, one packet of vanillin, one orange peel. Then in a well-kneaded mass, pour the flour (about 600 g) until a light and soft dough is obtained. Put it in a bowl, lightly greased with vegetable oil, cover with a towel and leave to ferment to double the increase in volume.

Add to the mixture a glass of sour cream, salt (pinch), two eggs, soda (0.5 tsp) or one packet of baking powder. Mix all the ingredients well and add the flour until a soft dough is left, leave it on the table for about twenty minutes. A rolled roll with poppy seeds is baked in the oven at an average temperature of 20-25 minutes. Cinnamon with sugar can also be used as the filling.
