He was seized, subjected to many days of torture, during which the Victorious repeatedly manifested the power of the Lord, recovering from the deadly wounds. At one of these moments, the wife of Emperor Alexander also believed in Christ, the more hardened Diocletian's heart: he ordered to cut off George's head.
