Miter machine and its variants
Machines or saws designed for trimming ortransverse sawing of sawn timber, such as building moldings, beams, boards, etc., are called trimming. This equipment is used in the woodworking industry, namely in furniture-joinery and sawmill production of medium and high power.
The crosscut lathe consists of the following parts:
- Box frame (in it there is a shaft with transfer).
- Saw shaft (connected by drive to motor).
- Electrical engine.
Operating principle
The shaft is in a swing frame. With the help of a hydraulic drive, the saw moves along the bottom surface of the table. This type of equipment is excellent for sawmilling. Hydraulic cylinder, the workpiece is securely fixed during operation. There is an automatic fixation before lifting the miter saw due to the common hydraulic cylinder. When using the correct clamping design, no chips appear on the surface. To improve the safety of the work, a locking system is used, which disables the crosscut lathe, two-hand control, and electrodynamic braking.
- one-sawed;
- two-sawed;
- Multiblade (with manual and manual feeding).
Single slicer trimming machine
At work the machine is a miter sawperforms the following functions. On the carriage, consisting of a bracket and a platform, a workpiece is fed to the saw, which along the guides moves itself along the rollers. In this case, this device moves with the help of spikes sliding in the grooves, and has a directing fixed ruler, located perpendicular to the saw blade. A special tool is used to clamp the parts. A stop placed parallel to the disc limits the length of the tuck.
Two-blade trimming machine
The double-saw miter machine processes the parts from both ends. One saw is mobile, the other is firmly attached to the shaft. The carriage runs along the inner guides.
For cutting at an angle, across or along theuniversal or circular saws are used. Tipping is done in two ways. In the first, the party is fronted on one side without a stop, and on the other - up to the stop. In the second, the work begins without an emphasis, then the emphasis is thrown, the bookmark is turned over and fronts on the other side until it stops. The second method is preferable due to the inverting of the packs and the overturning of the stop, since the time is wasted in this case much less.
Saws
Miter saws are used in work for cutting boards and bars.
- Pendulum (with a vertically suspended frame).
- With rectilinear movement of the spindle. Provide a swivel connection between each other, have horizontal guides.
- Balancing saws with a horizontal frame that swings on the axis and has a spindle at the end.
In such machines, manual ora mechanized device that feeds the saw blade to the material being processed. It is under the table on which the board is sawn. In the production of more common hinged and support machines with a straight feed to the workpiece.
