Silicate glue: application features

Silicate glue can also be used as aindependent product, and in combination with various materials. It can be used as a cleaning and detergent. Adhesive compound is used in paper, textile, chemical, fat and soap industry. It is an excellent environmentally friendly antiseptic, prevents the formation of fungi, rot and mold.

Before use, the mounting glue should bemix, for work it is recommended to prepare a brush, a roller and a brush. Prior to application, the surface must be cleaned of various contaminants, wood materials should be cleaned with sandpaper. During operation, the silicate adhesive is applied to the bondable surfaces, which are then pressed against each other.

When using a primer for processingThe surface of the screed cement and liquid glass are mixed in the same ratio. To create a waterproofing of concrete wells, their walls are treated with silicate glue, and then covered with a solution prepared from liquid glass, sand and cement (in equal proportions).

For the manufacture of waterproof plastersmix sand and cement (2.5 to 1) with 15 percent solution of silicate glue. The same composition is used for repair and masonry of external parts of furnaces, chimneys and fireplaces.

For waterproofing of basements, ceilings, floors, walls, pool devices, take silicate glue and connect with 10 parts of concrete solution.

As usual work on gluing the glue material is taken at the rate of 200 - 400 grams per 1 square meter.

To clean dishes, pans, pans and other items, you need to prepare a solution of liquid glass with water in a ratio of 1 to 25. After this, the dishes should be boiled in this composition.

Silicate glue is also used for repairaquariums and gluing glass, they impregnate lime building materials, concrete, wood and cement products, which increases their strength. With the help of glue make silicate paints, remove grease and oil stains from clothes.
