Basic carpentry tools
All masters, regardless of experience and levelskills, present to their inventory a number of requirements: carpentry tools must be durable, easy to handle and maximally workable. A wide range of stores in this segment of the construction market can meet the needs of the most demanding buyers. However, despite the fact that today many devices have their own mechanical analogs, most carpenters hold the view that the set of hand tools is still preferable. It should be noted that a single list of carpentry equipment simply does not exist - every craftsman selects it independently, guided by one or other of the considerations and preferences. Nevertheless, there are several adaptations that may or may not be necessary, but it is desirable for every carpenter. So, the basic universal tool set:
- Construction Ax is designed to solve a number of tasks: cutting wood, sampling grooves, processing logs and boards, adjusting individual components of the structure.
- Saw. It is strongly recommended to have in its arsenal at least two of its varieties: two-handed with large teeth for sawing logs and a hacksaw for working with smaller segments.
- Sherchebel - a tool designed for the initial processing of wood. Surface-roughened surface comes out somewhat uneven and has some grooves and grooves.
Plane. There are several types, but the mostcommon are planers with a single knife, designed to straighten just sawn or pre-cut surfaces, as well as planes with a double knife, used for the final planing of wood and the clamping of the ends. It has counterknife (chip shaving), which allows to get a better surface of parts. - Fuganok and polugugankok can be called, in a sense, a kind of plane. They are designed to work with a material that has a large surface area.
- Chisels and chisels - carpentry tools used for hollowing out nests and holes.
- Drills and borer Perform the same work as the chisel, only faster.
No matter how good the carpentry tools are,it is very difficult to eventually get the product of proper quality, if the master does not have a decent workplace. Ideally, it should be a special workbench, bought in a store or manufactured independently.
