Chlorophytum: home care, growing problems

Chlorophytum is a perennial plant thatbelongs to the family of lily. This flower is very common, in almost any office or home you will find this rather unpretentious, but very beautiful plant. Many appreciate it for the property of cleaning the air in the room where it grows.

And yet it does not matter, capricious plantor not, you need to look after any representative of the flora. Chlorophytum, home care which is fairly simple, does not require any lighting. It can be placed in the shade or penumbra, the lack of light affects only the saturation of the color of the leaves. Problems in growing

This plant is resistant to diseases and pests. But if chlorophytum is weakened, it can be attacked by such insects as spider mites, chervets.

Brown or dry tips of leaves indicate too dry air in the room and a lack of nutrients in the soil.

If the irrigation is too intense, the plant can bend the rosette of the leaves, this often occurs in the winter, when the watering needs to be reduced.

If the leaves lost their mottled color, then they simply lack light. This can be corrected by placing the plant under fluorescent lamps.

Useful advice: in order to enhance the purifying ability of chlorophytum, activated carbon can be added to the soil.

So, chlorophytum, home care for which is carried out correctly, is a powerful plant with a bright juicy rosette of leaves and many daughter processes.

If your flower looks weak and dying, do notexperience, change its location, feed, cut the damaged leaves, spray water often at room temperature. After a while you will see that the flower begins to reborn and grow with renewed vigor.
