M300 dry mix: types, technical characteristics, application features
In the construction market, there are more and more new materials designed to facilitate and accelerate the construction process, improve its quality. One of such materials is dry mix - sand concrete.
Features
- High reliability and durability.
- Maintain their properties for a long time.
- Ability to carry the highest loads.
- Stability against damage of any kind, including mechanical ones.
- High density.
- Resistance to moisture, adaptation to rapid changes in temperature.
- Available for any consumer cost.
- No shrinkage.
- Water resistant.
- Ecological compatibility.
Scope of application
- When installing.
- When pouring the foundation under the structure.
- When making floor screeds.
- When leveling surfaces.
- For sealing of cracks.
Due to its resistance to external factors and rapidity of hardening, the M 300 sand concrete is used for work at emergency facilities where these properties are very important.
Restoration of surfaces of different kinds, layingstairs, paths for the garden, the manufacture of various types of paving slabs, curbs - these and many other types of work are also performed today using sand-concrete solutions. In addition, the M300 sand concrete is used: the dry mix is the main component for the preparation of expanded clay concrete.
Method of use
But, in order for the result to be of high quality,The surface must be carefully prepared before applying the mortar. To do this, remove dust, paint, dirt, loose areas, which can subsequently be crumbled. If there are large cracks, they must be repaired. Before applying the solution, the surface must be primed or moistened.
If vertical surfaces are processed, the work is performed as follows:
- Beacons are installed. They are needed so that it is possible to level the solution to obtain a strictly horizontal surface.
- After that, M300 sand concrete is used. The dry mix is mixed with the liquid at the rate of 1: 5.
- With the help of a mixer, the solution is mixed until a plastic, homogeneous mass is obtained.
- The required amount of solution is poured onto the prepared surface. It should be so much that it was convenient to work.
- The solution is leveled out using the rule.
That the solution after drying kept itsthe following measures should be observed: periodically moisten the surface, protect from drafts and ensure that at least 72 hours the sun's rays do not reach the drying solution. After a week, the surface will be ready for further work.
Composition
The main component of the mixture is one of the newtypes of cement - portland cement. It consists of gypsum, to which is added crushed clinker and sand. Improve the quality of the material special additives - crumb granite, plasticizers, etc.
Types of mixtures
- Coarse-grained mixture. It is characterized by a long service life and the highest strength characteristics. It is designed for pouring foundation structures.
- Medium-grained mixture. Screeds, paving slabs, self-leveling floors - these and many other works are performed using medium-fractional mixtures.
- Fine-grained mixture. Has increased reliability. It is used as an external plaster, used as a grout remover.
To produce a specific type of mixture used special grids, special equipment, vibrating plants, various tools.
