Breast in Pregnancy

Before a woman makes a test for the determinationpregnancy, it is the chest that will let her know that something has changed in her body. In the first days and weeks it becomes more sensitive, more tender and changes its shape. Breast during pregnancy looks great, but these changes are not meant for beauty, only biological factors play a role here - the breast of the expectant mother is preparing for such an important role as feeding the baby.

Pregnancy is a condition in whichthe most visible is the power of nature - the body of a woman lives by its own rules, it knows best what it needs and does not ask for an opinion on subsequent transformations. Soon after fertilization, the first changes in the breast become noticeable. It can become more tense and even painful. Many women note that the breast becomes heavier during pregnancy. And some notice changes in the nipple, which becomes more sensitive than usual, and the areola acquires a dark color and increases in volume.

Next, the breast of a pregnant woman week after week will beless painful. But it will start to increase in volume. The skin becomes tense, and through it you can see a grid of veins. Breasts during pregnancy will grow gradually and may at the end of the period increase by three to four sizes. Unfortunately, many women can notice on the skin in this area of red scars or, so-called stretch marks. They usually appear in those future mothers who have a genetic predisposition to this or those who, in the process of bearing a baby, have gained too much weight. Therefore, pregnancy is the time when you need to really take care of your breasts - regularly massage and use special creams and oils. Sometimes it may seem (this applies to subsequent pregnancies) that the breast does not increase at all. Do not worry - the changes will occur after the birth of the baby.

The middle of pregnancy is the time when the breastis prepared for milk production. So do not be surprised if a small amount of yellowish-clear liquid begins to drip from the nipple. It's colostrum, or, as it is called, the first milk. If it does not exist, this does not mean that the woman does not eat well or will have difficulties while feeding the baby. Sometimes it can happen that colostrum begins to flow during sexual intercourse - to avoid this, you just need to stop stimulation of the breast.

If the chest hurts during pregnancy isfine. This circumstance is due to its increase in volume, as well as a deficiency of oxytocin, a neurotransmitter that controls changes in it. In three or four months the pain should go away. Hormonal changes that occur in the body of a pregnant woman, increase the flow of blood in the body, and thus affect the tissue of the mammary glands, they become sensitive. All this happens in order to cut off the milk ducts and close the glands. To reduce pain, you need, first of all, to buy a new bra. He, of course, can be less sexy, but will well support and keep the breast from stretch marks. Do not also take pain medication because of sensitivity. This does not make sense, since the pills will bring relief only for a short time. From the very beginning of pregnancy, you also need to use special cosmetics for breast care for women in a position that is sold in pharmacies. It will help prevent stretch marks and relieve the itching caused by stretching.

Be sure to consult a doctor,if the woman noticed small seals in the chest. Anxiety should also cause redness, swelling, and if the breast during pregnancy is especially painful and it is accompanied by a fever - it can be caused by infection or inflammation.
