"Skoda Yeti" - owners feedback about the new Czech crossover
Czech automaker Škoda seriouslyapproached the design and development of his first serial crossover called "Skoda Yeti." Presented in 2005 at the annual Geneva Motor Show with its prototype "Yeti Concept", Czech engineers and designers over the long 4 years have perfected the SUV and, so to say, brought it to mind. The premiere of the novelty took place in the same place, in the spring of 2009, and already in the autumn "Skoda Yeti" was actively supplied to the Russian market. Since the time of sale, enough time has passed to reveal the positive and negative sides of this car. In the framework of our review, we will try to find out how successful was the debut of the first in its line of crossover called "Skoda Yeti".
Owner feedback on design
It should be noted that from the beginning of sales in 2009 andThis day the novelty has not suffered any changes in the exterior. Its front part with four characteristic headlights and the already familiar radiator grille with chrome overlays somewhat resemble the old good "Fabia" and other famous "Skoda" models. In general, each new machine from the Czechs is very similar to all the others, as if reminding motorists of their "family ties". But back to the overview of the design of "Skoda Yeti". Reviews of the owners say that the novelty has a very original appearance, thanks to which it is not lost in the crowd of gray cars. A powerful bumper with air duct, rectangular and round lighting, chrome planks - all this in general creates a positive impression of the exterior of the new Skoda Yeti.
Reviews of owners about the interior
Inside, the novelty demonstrates high qualityassemblies and inexpensive finishing materials. But still, judging by the reviews of many car owners, the high cost of materials did not save the Czechs from increased noise during the car's movement. The second minus is noticed in the unfinished driver's seat, which has an inappropriate placement of lateral support and a rather stiff padding, which soon causes fatigue in the driver. But not everything is so sad, because the novelty has a lot of advantages in terms of ergonomics. First, it is worth noting the functionality and convenience of the adjustable steering column, which can be easily adjusted to the height and width of the driver's hands. Secondly, the instrument panel of the new model has a deliberate placement of all measuring instruments, thanks to which the dashboard becomes informative and at the same time does not bear excessive strain on the eyes. Also worth paying attention to the well-planned design of the torpedo and the central console of the car "Skoda Yeti": the feedback of the owners says that these elements do not have any drawbacks in terms of ease of use. In general, the salon of the novelty came out on a solid "4".
"Skoda Yeti": the price
The minimum cost for a Czech crossover is 739 thousand rubles. The most expensive equipment will cost off-road lovers almost one and a half million rubles.
Summing up, we can say that the new "Skoda Yeti" 2013 did not become a "lump" in the line of Czech crossovers, and it has every chance of further existence.
