Formula 1 car - the perfect car

Royal auto racing, which is popular among the peopleas Formula-1, do not leave indifferent to millions of people on the whole planet. Someone grabs directly the course of the competition itself, and someone just delighted with the participating cars, each of which is called - the "Formula 1 car." If we say about these cars in a few words, then in the world of motor sports they are the most advanced from a technological point of view, the fastest and, therefore, the most expensive. Nobody can compare in speed with the circle with such machines, which is largely achieved thanks to the highest clamping force, which is provided by the aerodynamics of the car.

Bolide of Formula 1
The very term "bolide" originally came to us fromthe science of astronomy, in which he denotes a bright meteorite or heavenly body. Now this word is so widely used in the world of cars that it just got used to it and is interpreted as a car with open wheels, allocated to a class that stands apart from other cars. The first Formula 1 car was officially born in 1950, but its counterparts performed at the European Grand Prix in 1920.

The oldest among all is the teamFerrari, whose cars have changed more than others. Formula 1 bolides developed actively and changed very often. If you compare and compare two cars of the same Ferrari team with a difference of 10 years, you can clearly see that they are completely different.

How much does a Formula 1 car
Now, like more than sixty years ago,the design features and technical characteristics, which the Formula 1 car must comply with, are determined by the rules of the competition. It is there that all, even the slightest, nuances concerning the construction of a car, the volume of its power unit, the dimensions of tires and so on are spelled out.

One can not but note the fact that changes in theregulations are introduced annually. It is believed that the largest number of them was introduced in 2009. Then the engineers of all teams had the task to build, in fact, new cars. The result of such innovations were cardinal changes in the alignment of the forces of the competition, when high-speed, successful teams became outsiders, and slow enough representatives of races came to their place.

The car kit includes about 80 thousandelements. The basis is a so-called monocoque, the production of which uses carbon plastic or carbon. Note that each Formula 1 car has, as a rule, three separate monocoques. In front of it there is a pilot's seat, made entirely for a particular driver, and a front suspension. At the rear, a gearbox, a motor, a deformable fuel tank and an exhaust system are installed.

A very important role for each car is playedaerodynamic elements that provide downforce. These include the rear and front wings made of carbon fiber. In addition to all this, the car also needs electronics, mirrors, cables, suspension levers and so on. All this in the aggregate costs a lot of money.

Bolides of Formula 1
Many are interested in the question of how muchthere is a Formula 1 car. The price depends in many respects on which team performed the assembly. As practice shows, for small teams the car costs a few hundred thousand dollars, while the larger one needs several million. Expensive and current maintenance of cars, which reaches a mark of $ 20 million per season, for which the car runs about eight thousand kilometers. So it turns out that some teams cost one kilometer at least $ 500.
