Symptoms of thrush in women. Prevention and treatment
Thrush (or candidiasis) is aviolation of the balance of the microflora of female organs, caused by fungal infection, which is provoked by yeast-like Candida fungi. These fungi are present in the body of every woman, not only on the vaginal mucosa, but also the mouth and rectum. When excessive reproduction occurs in the body, a disorder occurs. Many women are familiar with the symptoms of thrush, because almost every second at least once in life experienced this disease.
Causes of candidiasis can be several factors: severe stress or hypothermia, a general decrease in immunity, a prolonged or uncontrolled intake of antibiotics, inadequate hygiene or excessive adherence to its rules (the latter quite often leads to a disruption of natural microflora), the wearing of synthetic underwear or the use of other personal hygiene products (linen, towels), and also diabetes mellitus or any venereal diseases.
1. Abundant secretions of curdled consistency, as a rule, odorless.
2. Itching, burning and redness of the external genitalia.
3. Painful sensations in the upper part of the vagina, which causes acute pain during urination, and also makes sexual intercourse difficult.

These signs may indicate the presence of more serious disorders, for example, chlamydia or other sexually transmitted diseases and even diabetes mellitus. That is why in no case can you treat candidiasis yourself. It is wise to see a doctor and get a checkup to see if there are other diseases.
Symptoms of thrush are very unpleasant, but theyfamiliar to almost every woman. In this regard, you just need to observe personal hygiene, use only your own towel, wear underwear only from natural fabrics. During the exacerbation of the disease, you must comply with all the prescriptions of the doctor to avoid the progression and development of cystitis - inflammation of the bladder.
