Piobacteriophage complex

"Piobacteriophage complex" is issued in the form ofsolution for topical administration and oral administration. The drug has a specific ability to lyse (destroy) bacteria - streptococci (enterococci, including), staphylococcus, intestinal and pseudomonas aeruginosa, proteasis.

"Piobacteriophage combined" is shown whenpurulent-inflammatory lesions of ENT organs, lungs and respiratory tract (sinusitis, angina, otitis, tracheitis, pharyngitis, pleurisy, pneumonia, bronchitis). The drug is also prescribed for the elimination of urogenital infections (cystitis, urethritis, colpitis, endometritis, pyelonephritis), gastrointestinal infections (intestinal dysbacteriosis, gastroenterocolitis, cholecystitis), surgical (burns, purulent wounds, abscesses, mastitis and others). The drug "Piobakteriofag complex" is assigned to newborns and infants with the treatment of purulent-inflammatory processes (pyoderma, omphalitis, sepsia, conjunctivitis and others), generalized septic diseases.

For preventive purposes, the drug is used to treat freshly infected and postoperative wounds.

Contraindication to the use of the drug is hypersensitivity.

In diseases of internal organs, anddysbacteriosis, enterocolitis "Piobacteriophage complex" is taken orally one hour before meals three times a day. Dosage for one dose is: up to six months - 5 ml, from half a year to a year - 10 ml, from year to three years - 15 ml, from three years to eight - 20 ml, over eight years - 30 ml.

In the form of an enema (rectally) - in conjunction withdouble oral (through the mouth) reception. For one rectal administration the dosage is the following: up to six months - 10 ml, from half a year to a year - 20 ml, from year to three years - 30 ml, from three to eight years - 40 ml, over eight years - 50 ml in enema.

Local application is recommended for seven to twenty days to eliminate purulent-inflammatory pathologies with local lesions.

If the cavity of the purulent focus is treatedchemical antiseptics, before using the bacteriophage it should be washed with 0.9% solution (sterile) of NaCl. Treatment of purulent wounds is carried out by applications, irrigation, application of dressings, introduction through drainage at least once a day.

After the opening and elimination of purulent contents with abscesses, "Piobacteriophage complex" is introduced in a smaller volume than the amount of pus removed.

The drug is injected into the drained cavity every day once from 20 to 200 ml. When osteomyelitis - through the drainage, turunda in the cavity of the wound for 10-20 ml.

Introduction to the joint or pleural or otherlimited cavities are carried out in an amount of 100 ml. At the same time, capillary drainage is left. Through it for several days the drug is re-introduced.

With purulent-inflammatory diseases of a gynecological nature, the drug is used daily once a day for 5-10 ml. Introduction is carried out in the uterine cavity, vagina.

With purulent-inflammatory pathologies of ENT organsone to three times a day, 2-10 ml is administered to the nasal cavity, the middle ear. The drug is also used for rinsing, instillation, washing, wetting turund.

With pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis, the drug is injected into the bladder in an amount of 20-50 ml and through the nephrostoma or cystostomy in the renal pelvis in an amount of 5-7 ml.

Application in newborns (including,premature): with sepsis, enterocolitis, the drug is administered two to three times a day in the form of high enemas. If there is no regurgitation or vomiting, the drug is administered orally (orally).
