Odintsovo Humanitarian University (OGU): student feedback

Odintsovo Humanitarian University founded in2004. The initiator of the creation of a higher educational institution in the city was Gladyshev Alexander Georgievich. From 1991 to 2013 he was the head of the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region. The founders of the university are:

Deeply in the school studied such disciplines as literature, social studies, a foreign language.

The Gymnasium of Odintsovo Humanitarian University had good performance indicators:

about 47% of students were winners and prize-winners of regional, regional and all-Russian Olympiads;
the staff of the educational institution developed several dozen of the author's development programs of training courses, 9 methods for the identification of gifted children;

The fate of the university

The OSU is not currently on the city map. Odintsovo Humanitarian University has ceased to exist. The address, which housed the university, now belongs to another educational organization (Novo-Sportivnaya Street, 3). At the end of 2015, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of our country signed an order. It referred to the establishment of a branch of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) on the basis of the Odintsovo Humanitarian University.

In March 2016 the established educational institutionhas received a license from Rosoboradzor, which gives the right to conduct educational activities. Later, the branch of the well-known institute successfully passed the accreditation procedure for all its educational programs. In the same year, the recruitment of students for bachelor's and master's programs was started.

The educational institution, established on the basis of Odintsovo Humanitarian University, currently provides training for bachelors in 6 areas:

In April 2016 in the structure of Odintsovoa branch of MGIMO began to work Gorchakov Lyceum. He is implementing programs of basic general and secondary general education. Students study international disciplines, pass linguistic training. Lyceum is an excellent starting place for those children who in the future will want to enter MGIMO or foreign higher educational institutions.
