Aniline dyes for fabrics

Aniline dyes give the tissues a brightsaturated shades. However, they have a disadvantage: they are sensitive to sunlight and quickly burn out. Today, of course, dyes are characterized by much higher quality than at the dawn of their appearance: they are more resistant to sunlight and water.

These paints are organiccompounds that are obtained by oxidation of aniline and its salts. From the point of view of chemistry, the name is obsolete, but in everyday life it continues to be widely used. Now they call any synthetic dyes.

The most popular manufacturers of these substances -OAO Gamma (Moscow) and the Davydov Center. Also, many chemical plants in Russia and Ukraine produce them in the form of powders. Such aniline dyes for tissue require preliminary preparation and steaming. Moscow paints and similar products of the Center are much more convenient for work, but also require preliminary preparation.

Aniline is obtained from natural indigo, madder, cochineal, purple or chemical synthesis. Its connections are able to give the painted surfaces different tones of very bright colors. Today, colors are produced not from expensive natural materials, but from synthetic ones. It is produced by the reduction of nitrobenzene.

Aniline dyes began to be widely used inindustrial production from the middle of the 19th century. Black is very persistent, but the rest of the spectrum of paints collapses fairly quickly under the influence of light.

It is necessary to know that aniline is a strong poison, therefore, paints made on its basis are also unsafe. When working with unprepared concentrate, and with powder, you need to be careful and try not to inhale microparticles of the substance.

Aniline dyes are convenient for work, they are notso quickly dry on the fabric, like, for example, acrylic. To restore the dried product to its previous properties, it is sufficient to dilute it with water. If in the course of painting the fabric turned out to be too saturated a shade, then it can easily be washed out to remove excess.

Such paints are good for paintings ordecorative painting of products. If it is necessary to paint on a piece of clothing, then it is necessary to steam beforehand. When working with powder, you must first carefully rub the pigment, because nerasteye particles can show up in the mural where they are not needed.

In what form do I buy an aniline dye forcloth, everyone decides for himself, depending on how often you have to work with him. It is more convenient to handle dyes, which are already sold in liquid form. But you can buy in powder to breed as needed. You can buy paint in hardware stores and shops with goods for artists.

Aniline dyes can be used for painting on cotton, linen, woolen and synthetic fabrics.

Work with such dyes are better softwith brushes. Aniline is characterized by rapid spreading, which allows you to create abstract drawings without clear boundaries. But if you want to avoid spreading the pattern, then use tragant adhesive, which is added to the liquid paint in proportions of one to three. It is also possible to pre-coat the fabric with a special composition based on gelatin before work. The soaked and dried fabric can be safely covered with acrylic compounds that will not spread out exactly.

When working, aniline dyes can be mixed with each other to get more original shades.

There are also dyes for the fabric, with which you can paint things in the washing machine. Use them in accordance with the instructions.
