Hypertension of the 2nd degree (secondary). Main symptoms, stages and exercise therapy
Hypertension is a serious illness thatis a consequence of the disturbance of the complex mechanism of interaction of water-salt metabolism, endocrine and nervous systems. The main symptoms are: increased blood pressure and lesions in the cardiovascular system.
This disease is undulating and growingcharacter. A difficult period, when the high blood pressure prevails, can be sharply replaced by its normalization and the presence of a satisfactory condition. But, in any case, if there are first, rare signs, then you can be sure that in the absence of treatment, hypertension of the second degree or secondary will soon develop. Usually this happens if the following reasons continue to affect the body:
- neuropsychic overstrain;
- presence of negative emotions;
- mental trauma;
- development of menopause;
- intracranial injury;
- the presence of adverse heredity, stroke;
- the development of obesity, diabetes, ischemic heart disease and kidney failure.
There are several classifications of this disease. The first subdivides into hypertension with damage to the kidneys, vessels in the brain or heart. But, the option is possible, when everything is present in the complex.
The second classification takes into account the wavy character of this disease, highlighting the 3 degrees of hypertension.
In the presence of 1 degree there are nonessentialdisturbances of functions, the pressure rises periodically to the level of 180-105 mm Hg. which is accompanied by sleep disorders, head noise and the presence of a headache.
Hypertension 2 degrees. The blood pressure level rises to 200-115 mm Hg. Art. In addition to the above symptoms appear also: staggering when walking and frequent pain in the chest. Also, the development of organic changes begins (the left ventricle of the heart increases, the vessels of the retina of the eye bottom narrow). Therefore, secondary hypertension is the beginning of irreversible effects in the body.
3 degree of hypertension is characterized by the fact thatthe pressure becomes 230-130 mm Hg. Art. At this stage the wave-like character of the disease passes, and the high level of blood pressure remains fairly stable. By this time, in addition to the above, a number of new organic changes appear. We are talking about atherosclerosis of the arteries, dystrophic changes in internal organs, insufficient blood circulation, stenocardia, renal failure, myocardial infarction, hemorrhage not only in the retina of the eye, but also in the brain.
Hypertension 2 degrees and 3 is characterized by the presence of hypertensive crises, in the event of which it is necessary to urgently call an emergency doctor.
In addition to drug treatment and compliance with the diet, therapists recommend systematic exercise of exercise therapy.
The first degree of this disease "requires" that the patient walk on foot as much as possible. In some stable cases, jogging is also recommended.
Hypertension 2 degrees allows you to do exercises,standing or sitting. It's about general development, breathing exercises, as well as a balanced complex for muscle relaxation. Walking is mandatory, but in small doses at a slow pace. Gradually increase the marathon to 7 km.
At the third degree of hypertension, only afterpassing the hypertensive crisis, it is allowed to do the exercises from the original lying position, and the head should be raised high. In the event that there is an improvement in the condition, the therapist is also allowed to conduct classes in the sitting position. It is useful to develop the joints of the legs and hands, combining with deep breathing. The pace should be very slow and with stops.
In general, such a disease as hypertension is easier to prevent than cure.
