Pharmaceutical preparation "Gayro" instruction manualrefers to synthetic antibacterial agents. It is produced in the form of tablets. Each of them contains five hundred milligrams of ornidazole, the main active substance. Additional components - lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, aerosil, magnesium stearate, purified talc, sodium lauryl sulfate, croscarmellose sodium. The tablet shell consists of hypromellose, polyethylene glycol 400, purified talc, yellow quinoline, titanium dioxide, diamond green, titanium dioxide, isopropyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 6000 and distilled water.

Dosage form

This drug is usedorally (orally). For treatment of trichomoniasis (in acute form), adult patients are shown one and a half grams for one or more doses during the day. With this disease in the chronic stage is prescribed to five hundred milligrams per day (preferably in the morning and evening hours). Duration of the course is five days.

In the treatment of children, the dosage is determined from the calculation of twenty-five micrograms per kilogram of weight.
