About 20 years ago in the citythe largest Muslim religious building appeared. "Nur-Ikhlas" (translated as "Fidelity") is a structure built on all the canons of modern times, but the style of architecture more closely resembles the postmodern.

According to various sources, the construction of a mosquebegan in 1993 and continued until 2005. The architect of the project was VA. Manukyan. The building can accommodate 500 people. According to the idea of ​​the authors of the project, the building was erected in the Art Nouveau style, while the hipped roof of the hall and minaret remained traditional. On separate sides of the facade are separate entrances for men and women. On the north side is a 53-meter-long minaret, topped by a gilded crescent moon, on which the craftsmen engraved the sayings from the Koran.
